Part of Oilgear's Flow Product offerings is their Flow Switch line. This product group has applications in pipe lines and flow monitoring operations, especially NEMA 4.
There are two types of Flow Switch:
POPPET: Where a loose piston in a vertical line is driven by the fluid flow moving an internal magnet that attracts an external magnet that pulls in a micro-switch.
VANE: Where a vane is driven by the fluid flow and by a cam action pushes a plunger that has a magnet that attracts an external magnet that pulls in a micro switch.
Features Rugged – Outside the pipe components are sturdily constructed to withstand extremes.
Internal Switches – Large selection of contacts available.
All Flow Switches are Rated – NEMA 7, hazardous location ( Class 1 , Group C & D ). Optional NEMA 4X, weatherproof and selected UL/CSA approved are available.
Low Pressure Drop – Cam operator minimizes flow restriction. Low flow rate set points are available.
