Obsolescense Notice:
The Oilgear analog module rack ans mini rack control systems have, since the year 2000, been replaced by the new microprocessor based, din rail mounted, EPC Servo Controller. For more information contact the Oilgear Automation Systems department at 414-327-1700 in the United States or by our Contact Page.
19" Rack
The Analog Module Rack control system was developed in the late 1960's. Oilgear Automation System's goal was to be able to engineer custom control systems using standard modular building blocks. Each module was designed using solid-state technology, with test points, and adjustment points clearly identified on the front of the module. To add greater versatility, each standard module was designed with a number of options which can be selected when back plane wiring the module rack. All modules where performance tested at the time of manufacture and again during the final system test. Modules were housed in an aluminum rack, which became a complete functioning unit after being back plane wired. Since the introduction of Oilgear Automation Systems EPC Servo Controller, this rack design has become obsolete. However, most of the Analog Rack documentation is still available for download in the Technical Library.
Mini-Rack
The Mini-Rack control system was developed shortly after the 19" rack system.

A.C. Amplifier
If you have a Oilgear AC Amplifier unit like the one shown below you need to replace it now; there is no longer a way for Oilgear to service or support these units. Please contact Oilgear at 414-327-1700 in the United States or by by using our convenient Contact Page.
The AC Amplifier was first developed to answer the calling of the increased complexity of control systems in all fields of manufacture during the late 50's. Since then the AC amplifier has been replaced by the Analog Rack System and from there by the EPC Servo Controller. The AC Amplifier is Obsolete and can no longer be supported as most of the components used to construct it are no longer available. However Oilgear Automation Systems can assist you in upgrading to an EPC Servo Controller to work in place of your AC Amplifier.
provides a user friendly interface for the Oilgear Automation Systems EPC module using a PC. The EPC Software Interface is an ideal companion to the design professional or machine technician, displaying easy-to-understand graphic representations of the control programs and on-line updates of control information.

Oilgear offers a “single axis” motion controller that can be used to control pumps as well as proportional and servo valves. This unit has an onboard microprocessor, can be operated as either an open or closed loop device and it comes pre-programmed to control flow, pressure and horsepower.
Please explore the technical, wiring, user and sales documents we have available for the users of our Electronics and EPC Servo Controllers.
The Oilgear Company is committed to providing the best customer service possible. If you have any questions, concerns, comments, or need to get in touch with our Customer Service or Engineering staff, please send us a message, and we will contact you to address your concerns.
