The Oilgear
Company has conducted electronics courses as a service to our
customers for many years. Under the guidance of experienced
engineers and technicians, using modern teaching methods, many
people have been instructed in the operation and application
of Oilgear electronic modules; studied complete servo systems;
and have been given recommendations on preventative maintenance,
adjustment, trouble shooting, and repair. |
|
 |
Oilgear electronic modules are designed
and built for many years of precise and reliable service.
Each component is carefully assembled, inspected and tested
under meticulous quality control. However, performance and
long service life can be impaired by misapplication, improper
installation and improper adjustment.
By applying instructions received in The Oilgear
Electronic Course, operating and maintenance personnel can
correct or eliminate malfunction and premature failures while
using Oilgear equipment to their best advantage. We strongly
recommend The Oilgear Fluid Power
Course be completed before taking The Oilgear Electronic
Course (which assumes a good background in hydraulics).
Employees of companies using Oilgear equipment,
original equipment manufacturers, and personnel of prime
contractors associated with Oilgear may apply for the Course.
Each student must be sponsored by his employer. Class sizes
are limited and reservations are necessary.
Students must pay their own transportation, hotel, and living
expenses. Lunches and snacks will be provided by The Oilgear
Company during school sessions.
Friday afternoon a special period is set aside
to aid our customers with special electronic circuit applications
or problems. To conduct this special help period, we require
advance notice, the Oilgear drawing number for the circuit
and a short description of the help required. (Additional
form provided).
Since parts of this course involve shop work,
students should wear appropriate clothing. Our safety rules
(for touring the manufacturing area) require shoes that have
hard soles, low heels and not have a webbed type top, open-toed,
or tennis/basketball types. |
