Fluid Power Course

For many years, The Oilgear Company has conducted Fluid Power Courses as a service to our customers. Under the guidance of competent engineers, using modern teaching methods, hundreds of people have; been instructed in the operation and application of Oilgear components; studied complete power and control systems; and been given recommendations on preventive maintenance, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair.

Oilgear fluid power components are designed and built for many years of continuous full load service. Each component is carefully assembled, inspected and tested under meticulous quality control, preparing it for long term, heavy-duty service. However, performance and long service life can be impaired by misapplication, improper installation, improper adjustments, overloaded duty, and contamination.

By applying the instruction received in the Oilgear Fluid Power Course, operating and maintenance personnel can correct or eliminate malfunctions and premature failures while using Oilgear equipment to their optimum operating conditions..

Employees of companies using Oilgear equipment, ie., original equipment manufacturers and personnel of prime contractors associated with Oilgear may apply for the course. Each student must be sponsored by their employer. Class sizes are limited, so reservations are necessary. Students must pay their own transportation, hotel and living expenses. Lunches and snacks will be provided by The Oilgear Company during school sessions.
